So Camp Eagles Nest 2009 has come and gone. I had an amazing time getting to know those kids, doctors, nurses, counselors, sponsers, and just everyone involved with the camp. I had a great time working with Joe and Jenny. I was up for over 38 hours to get all the pictures organized and then worked until 3 in the morning making the book when I had an unexpected blip on my computer and lost everything and had to start over from scratch. I finally finished the book around 3:15 pm on Wednesday and the books had to be printed, picked up, and delivered to the kids by 3 pm when they left camp on Thursday. Needless to say; it was a little stressful but I was able to keep it together, got it done, and felt great about a major accomplishment. Next year, I'm thinking things will go much smoother. I can't wait to see everyone again next year. But why does it have to be so long?
While I was there I was able to get some great landscape shots and you can see those in my most recently added photos. It's amazing how you can live somewhere almost all your life and not know about some of the most beautiful spots around. Note to self; must go and discover a new beautiful spot at least once a week.
Being gone for a week has left my house looking like a tornado hit it and I have lots of cleaning to do to get "back to normal" then I'm ready to get back to my regular work.
I hope everyone had a fantastic week and look forward to seeing you soon~ until then, keep smiling!
